QuantiFarm launches its free educational platform, part of the Digital Innovation Academy, to empower farm advisors with advanced digital skills.

We’re excited to announce that the educational platform, part of the Digital Innovation Academy (DIA), created under the Horizon Europe project QuantiFarm, is now available, free for everyone and ready to welcome its first users! Developed by QuantiFarm partner Neuropublic, the DIA educational platform has been designed as a modular learning environment, providing flexible, self-paced learning opportunities to farm advisors and rural consultants. The platform offers two tailored course options: a) the train-the-trainer curriculum for educators and b) the end-user training curriculum for farm advisors.  In addition to the core DIA resources, the platform features a range of supplementary materials to further enhance the learning experience.

Why this matters

In recent years, digital technologies have reshaped agriculture and food production—improving efficiency, reducing costs, and boosting productivity. Digital Agriculture Technology Solutions (DATSs) enable more precise, controlled farming practices across both crops and livestock. Yet, despite the clear benefits and substantial investments, adoption rates among EU farmers remain lower than expected.

What’s holding farmers back? Limited awareness, a lack of solid evidence around the real costs and sustainability benefits, and even behavioural barriers that slow acceptance. That’s why QuantiFarm launched the Digital Innovation Academy: to tackle these challenges head-on by strengthening the role of farm advisors as key agents of change.

What you will gain by joining DIA

Through a rich, hands-on curriculum, participants will:

  • Explore the behavioural factors that influence farmers’ decisions and learn how to engage more effectively.
  • Dive deep into DATSs—understanding their categories, application areas, technical details, costs, benefits, and their contribution to sustainability.
  • Discover the key factors that determine how well digital solutions perform on farms.
  • Master business and operational strategies to maximise the impact of DATSs in everyday farming practices.
  • Become proficient users of the QuantiFarm Toolkit, helping farmers make smarter, more informed technology choices.

The future of farming is here—and it starts with you. Visit the Digital Innovation Academy today and join a growing community committed to smarter, more sustainable agriculture.

About QuantiFarm

QuantiFarm is an ambitious project funded by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe programme. Its mission is clear: to assess the real impact of digitalisation in agriculture by developing a comprehensive Assessment Framework that evaluates how well digital solutions perform on commercial farms. The project was launched with a fundamental question: “How can we determine which digital technology is the most suitable for each farm?” QuantiFarm aims to provide evidence-based answers, supporting farmers and advisors in making informed, future-oriented decisions tailored to their specific needs and conditions.
